Miranda’s Best Accessory

No- it’s not her shoes, or handbag, or even sunglasses! Well, maybe it is all those things but above all, we are loving her pooch, Frankie, the Yorkshire Terrier. This Aussie beauty can be seen strolling through the streets of New York walking, and many times carrying, her small pup. These are some of our favorite looks:

LadyWe Love No Doubt About It

We are so enamored by our hometown girl, Gwen Stefani. We enjoy her music, love her style, and admire her businesswoman/superstar/mom balancing act! We think she looks phenomenal every time we see her. She is a strong woman and you never hear anything negative about her in the media. We are so happy that BAZAAR magazine was able to celebrate her in the September issue. She has always stayed true to who she is and she is the perfect role model to anyone who is trying to express their individuality and push above and beyond everyone’s expectations.

We love her top knot!

Whether it’s a tank top and jeans or a couture gown and accessories, this girl can pull it off!

We are a sucker for red lipstick!

Cold Day in L.A.

It was a chilly day in Downtown L.A. when I spotted this young lady sitting on a planter for a cigarette break. It’s not everyday you see a gal dressed head to toe in black in L.A. We had to snap a picture since we are suckers for berets and pea-coats! She was also sporting fabulous keyhole sunnies that completed her Parisian look.

Seeing Spots

Spots are all around us this season and we wanted to share some of our favorite looks to inspire you, too.

Lady in the Streets

We came across this lady during our last minute shopping at Newport Beach’s Fashion Island. We caught her and her four-legged friends outside of a café. She wore a tan leather blazer, skinny jeans, an argyle sweater vest and two-tone leather riding boots. She polished off her look with a sleek pony, round sunnies and well accessorized pooches!

Paris Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week came and went and now its time to shift our eyes to Paris. Paris Fashion week 2011 will host great designers such as: Chanel, Nina Ricci, Dior, Vivienne Westwood, and Comme des Garçons, just to name a few. Her are our top LadyWe Street Fashion picks! There is nothing we love more than skirts and dresses!

Milan Fashion Week

As the Milan Fashion Week takes place, we patiently wait to hear back from our trusty sources on all the new Spring 2012 trends. Our favorite part is getting to see all the amazing street fashion during these fashion weeks. Below are our favorite Ladies who walked the streets of Milan. As we narrow down our top 4 Lady Picks, we notice a common trend of fun, retro sunnies, & bold splashes of color.                                                                              .

Lady We Love: Michelle Williams

There was a reason we started this blog.  So that we could talk about women like Michelle Williams on the cover of Vogue’s October issue.  Michelle Williams is the lady of our generation and is gracing the cover of the October issue of Vogue as the iconic Marilyn Monroe.  With her amazing talent, beautiful looks, and amazing style, Michelle is in a class of her own.    Not only do we love Michelle for those reasons, but her strength and character as a woman is so empowering.  Michelle has grown in career (Dawson’s Creek to Blue Valentine- who saw that coming in 1999 while watching the WB?) but also in her personal life.

“Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don’t feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don’t feel scared to have an idea and express it.” She adds, “I feel giddy about it because it’s a complete transformation. It’s like I’ve found my voice.

Williams is playing Marilyn Monroe in “My Week with Marilyn” a film directed by Simon Curtis about the behind the scenes dramas of shooting “The Prince and the Showgirl.  Williams starred in “Blue Valentine ” opposite Ryan Gosling in 2010, a role that is still earning her critical acclaim.

While these images take our breath away, it is Williams’ daily street style that has us ooing and subscribing to US Weekly.  Every picture we see of her walking the street with daughter Matilda we think- that is what a young mom should be like.

“I’m going to do everything in my power to make her feel safe and protected, and to extend her childhood for as long as possible.”

Out on the sidewalk, Williams says, “Is there anything better than making a kid laugh?”
