Larone Crafts Inc. is a Philippines based company. All handbags and clutches are created and handcrafted by weavers and artisans from all over the country. This cottage-type industry helps women in less developed areas of the Philippines earn a living for their families.

“Established in 1984, we have been working closely with micro-businesses, cooperatives, and skilled artisans to provide customers with a quality product that is both fashionable and functional; at the same time, we are committed to providing these individual weavers and workers with a stable livelihood and source of income.”

Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips are the cutest best friends in the  business.  Not only are the a a few of our favorite celebrities with style, they seem to get even better when they’re together.

Williams and Phillips accompanied each other to the 2012 Golden Globes.  Here, a proud Phillips snaps photos in celebration of her friend’s win for Best Actress in her role in My Week With Marilyn.

The two met on the set of Dawson’s Creek in the 90′s.  Phillips joined the cast in 2001 as Joey’s (played by Katie Holmes) college roommate.

While Williams lives in New York and Phillips in Los Angeles, the two try to get together as much as possible along with their daughters Matilda, Williams’ daughter with the late Heath Ledger, and Birdie, Phillip’s daughter with Screenwriter Marc Silverstein.

Both have  had great success, Williams with most recently My Week With Marilyn and Phillips with Cougar Town.  LadyWe can only hope that one day they will reunite on a screen, for that will be our favorite movie of the season.

In the French film, Breathless, directed by  the famous Jean-Luc Godard, we are introduced to a hip American character by the name of Patricia Franchini. The movie is about a thief who falls in love with her and expects her to live and hide away with him in Italy. Jean-Paul Belmondo plays the thief who falls for everything American, including the girls. Remember this is a French film, nothing like our fast-paced American cinema, so the characters truly take their time with their mundane routine and you feel you are a spectator at a Parisian café observing their every move. Either way, Patricia’s character, played by actress Jean Seberg, left us satisfied with her many stripe ensembles!
