Something Blue

Baby it’s cold outside and we are keeping warm inside with our pumpkin spice latte and some fun new polishes! How do you like our glittery ombré look? We used Essie Boxer Shorts, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue & Milani silver.

LadyWe Love Philosophy

Mangos and Cream

We can’t get enough of Philosophy’s “Mangos and Cream” lotion and shower gel. If you are as obsessed with mangos as we are, then you’ll definitely want to stop by your nearest beauty store to pick this up. Not only does it smell divine, it makes your skin look and feel super soft to the touch. This is a great gift!

Not Enough Space

We went to an Urban Outfitters and had to pick up one last thing while waiting in the check out line. We fell in love with this periwinkle nail polish, “crowded”. In honor of this name, we decided to choose a nice gold shimmer to paint our ring finger to represent how “crowded” by periwinkle our other digits already were that the gold only made it onto one.

I N G L O T Cosmetic Customization

We’ve stumbled upon something new: Inglot Cosmetics. As the friendly sales associate pointed out, Inglot is the MAC makeup of Europe. They offer a wide range of color palettes in everything cosmetic class from nail polishes to eye shadows. We loved the fact that they offer something called the “Freedom System” in which you can select the color palettes of your choice. In a world of customization, this is something we’ve been lacking in cosmetics. Imagine this – an eyebrow trio with colors you will actually wear. You simply choose the platelet, then select the color squares you would like to fill the platelet. In a world of self-serve yogurt shops, build-a-bear type toy stores and customized social network sites, this is very exciting in the cosmetic world. For the ordinary consumer, having a store in which you can play, try on, and cater to your preference is a win. Inglot has many items, which one would think would be overwhelming, but in fact, is exciting since one has endless possibilities of color combinations.

They also offer out of the ordinary eyelashes. We thought the eyelashes were super fun and although we would never wear these often, they are one of a kind and can be great to wear out to a party. Shop Inglot here or visit them in their U.S. locations in New York and California.

Having A Ball

Trying hard to suck as much as we can from the Holidays. We’ve decided to jazz up our red manicure with some gold accents. We used Nabi nail polish in “Gold Big Ball” to layer on top and we love how the gold flakes pop and make our nails a bit more festive! Happy Holidays!

Central Park

With only 2.5 days to spend in NYC, we had to make every minute count.  This included waking up at 6am to log some time in NYC’s Central Park.  Shown here, wearing NYC’s Central Park Nail Polish.
