Here at LadyWe, we have a very special place in our heart for Audrey Hepburn. We love her quirky and daring personality in her role as Jo in Funny Face alongside Fred Astaire. Needless to say, we are obsessed with everything Audrey, so it was a fun surprise to see Beyoncé channel her inner Audrey in her latest video for her song Countdown. She went the whole 9 yards sporting the staple black turtle neck and paired with the white socks and black ballet flats combo. Here’s a fun look at the homage.

In the French film, Breathless, directed by  the famous Jean-Luc Godard, we are introduced to a hip American character by the name of Patricia Franchini. The movie is about a thief who falls in love with her and expects her to live and hide away with him in Italy. Jean-Paul Belmondo plays the thief who falls for everything American, including the girls. Remember this is a French film, nothing like our fast-paced American cinema, so the characters truly take their time with their mundane routine and you feel you are a spectator at a Parisian café observing their every move. Either way, Patricia’s character, played by actress Jean Seberg, left us satisfied with her many stripe ensembles!
